    Awesome. Congrats!
Yeah, it's a ton of work. Sure, it's expensive fun. But you absolutely can't match the satisfaction of building something yourself that is not only cool, but performs really well.
When you quit, you will miss it like your right hand.
    Keep up the great effort.

My self I am @ track most of time 1-3 days a week , I have not Raced / Ran
    Bracket Racing since I was 12ish , I am in my 50s ,, Now I done S -Racing
    Since 15 , The times I have made a pass @ track , Sand bag Shifts , Lift , 3/4 pedal,,
Just to get a Ideal Et / mph ,

Even when I built a car to Run a class that was 1,600- 1,900 pds with
    1,800 - 2,600ish Hp , 1/4 mile , I would only show up to do the test tune ,
I did this only for the Thrill / Speed Gs
& skating around , Test my tuning skills
& Happy not Kicking rods @ 9,700 RPMS ,, very Expensive drug ,
But any Ways , The Bracket Race I am not into for Me to be in seat ,,,
    """" But """
I just seen a Class called
    "" Comp Eliminator Clash """"
First One to Finish line ,
    No dial run Out ,,,
Et Staggered in the tree ,
    If a difference on ET,,,
Now I would be into that!!!
Instead of run your Dial in & Not Running Out ,,,
Again I just seen this morning that Aired From this pass
    Indy U.S. Nationals,

I have Never see or heard of this class
    Comp Eliminator Clash???

I just quickly scanned through an article on the Comp Eliminator Class rules and procedure. It does sound very competitive although a bit confusing, at least to me, and potentially expensive. Kinda like index racing but with a variable index?

If I read the Comp Eliminator rules right, they are the same type of setup that we run down here as Modified. Dial your own index, then a staggered start from the tree (slowest car leaves first). Don't breakout of your own dial-in.

Modified is the class my FED will run in, up against all kinds of rails and door cars. Fun racing watching a high-end rail try to run down an econo-racer door car who has a 5-second headstart.

    Cheers,
    Harv

I did hear them (announcer) describe some of the engine combos like custom billet blocks Pro stock head ,, yes $$$$
I was thinking in a way, Not on National circuit level, Just small track racing like you described ,
A 1/4 of The alphabet was mentioned also

Whether you’re racing for a trophy or purse, the first win is still sweet!
