2.5 chevy intake info .

    well in my track roadster i have a mid to late 80s 2.5 four cylinder out of an s10. i want to make an intake for it but i need info on the head.at the ends of the head there are water ports. any way around this? i was gona make the flange and block them off but i need help before i waste time cutting it out.

    If the water just flows through the stock intake for carb heat you could block it off. BUT, being where you are at you might want to engineer in a carb heat system on whatever you design for a new manifold.

    I made a ram log intake and header for my CII engine. Two SU's into a piece of rectangular tube left over from building the roadster frame. I covered over the water holes, not going to drive a roadster in December!
