Trucks should ride like trucks. I have a 66 GMC when I drive it I remember just how trucks really ride. Loud motor screaming (big block V6) it's head off with lots of road noise and creeks and squeeks. No factory radio just a delete plate. A old truck isn't a new car and will never ride that way.MII or caramo (spell police) doesn't change the fact that they are trucks. Traditional or not it's still a truck. Some people like the idea of owning a truck but can't understand they are not cars they are designed for hauling, working or pulling things. But as for the Twin idea I really dig it. Doing one flat white with a gloss black dash and do the gloss black one with a flat white dash some radars on both. Bellflower style exhaust. Do the beds both in wood that is the color of the truck.

I put in a higher geared rearend (3.08) and I can go as fast as I want. I've had the speedo in my truck buried lots of times.

I'll be the first to admit, they do ride like a 50 year old truck. Pull a couple leaves out of the springs to smooth out the ride a bit. Get a front swaybar, too.

Getting back to your original Yin and Yang idea, I think it would be neat to do the white one up as a friendly freeway geared, drive everywhere kind of rig, and black one a low geared "drag race" kind of vehicle. It'd be cool if you could haul the black (Evil?) on a trailer to the dragstrip with the white (Good?) truck.

    Just an idea.....

put a later model frame under it(as is the case with my 55')looks factory to untrained people and rides sweeeettt as pie! but in no way is it traditional because of the Disk brakes, power steering,396ci,lexan and soon to be Honking Turbo... **** i could go on forever.if your trying to get the magic "T" word then its going to need a resto and thats it is my .02

Sure, but you'll have to wear a flannel shirt and use your arm for signalling turns! ;)

I am sorry for the name calling. I apologize. What I was saying is instead of picking on someone for a spelling error or calling something the wrong name add something useful. Stop adding to the useless info on the internet.Thank you for liking my Henry J even if it isn't a g***er or traditional in the circle of HJ's. And it still has the flathead four in too with 2027 original miles. I liked the car you sent me not my style but nice non the same.
