Dropped my Regulator in a stupid aint broken dont fix it sutuation - I wanted to check the specs as the battery on the 32 is not a lead-acid, but a gel cell and may need a slightly higher charge voltage... After the drop to the floor the relay arms bend, and i fear that i will never get it correctly set up again. Is there a procedure to measure/adjust these regulators on the table using DC power supplies, then i would be grateful to learn this info... or.. is it better/safer to find another regulator? I have searched the www and cant find one single regulator that looks worth buying, it all looks like import merchandise... Who/What brand should i go for, for a regulator that works.. solid-state or mechanical.. it just have to work like its supposed to..

The generator is a 32 3 brush, that have been converted to 2 brush. Field coil and armature share the same ground (+). 6V, Any help much appreciated...
