my roadster, while yelling Viva La Hamb! Luckily the other get away vehicle was Big Olds.

I finally got the roadster running last weekend. Hotrodladycrusr and CherryBlossom stopped by to see what I was up too.

Still have a few things to finish up and a couple of changes to make, but Dzus fasteners, a windshield and some type of interior are next.

Greg, I got impatient and already rebuilt the one I had on the car it's running pretty good now.

Don, I wish I was even further along the Hamb Drags are coming up quick. I'm going to try and make Louisville.

hankcash LOL, there heads are already over the windshield line.

61 wag, I've had worse dates, at least we all went out to dinner later.

Fast Elvis, Thanks I can hardly wait to take it out and see what it will do.

junk runner jr, speedway 6" drop spring behind axle, and the steering arms are also the bigger drop ones from speeway.

Yeah, what Don said, I didn't know you were that far along!

Haven't you ever heard of "progress posts" so we know someone is actually working on a car and not just bitching about one? [IMG]

You now have a deadline to beat. Get it done for Louisville just like Boyd would.

Looks good, What tire and wheel combo are you running ? Front and back. I am putting a 27 tall T together and so far I am undecided on tire size.

I'd like to see a four barrel Hack Holley. It would probably end up being the most unique thing ever to top an engine.....some might say unholy...:)

I like the stance on that. What's your rear end set-up?

    Beatnik,

I'm really digging your car! Do you have any finished pictures of the frame? As I recall it was a pretty sturdy looking rectangular tube deal, right?

    Thanks,

I can't tell in the pic does the drag link go through the hairpins or under them? I have the four inch spring behind axel on my T with the shorter drop arms and they don't work.

I take it you are running a vega box?

Has anyone seen that new rack and pinion cross steer box in the new speedway catalog? Looks pretty slick.

I hope you get it to Louisville so I can check it out. I have a "top secret" new project in the works and I like the way yours sits.

Plowboy, it went together quick, I really havent posted to many pics, yup vega box

famous59, 165R15 radial fronts and 29x7-15 Hurst Cheater Slicks radial recaps on the back.

Roothawg, yea Wheel Vintiques, Solid 15x5 & 15x7's and 1941 Ford caps

I've also got a set of 15x10's with radials, I'm using for longer trips. They look stupid, like I'm ready for the mud bogs but it should hook and I wont have to worry about the rain

ol_scratch, It's an 8.8 Ford axle w/Competition Engineering Ladder Bars, Panhard bar, and coil overs.

edmurder, here's a couple pics of the frame 2x3 and 1-5/8 tube all .120 wall.

junk runner jr, tie rod and drag link go through the radius rods.

  22. Way cool Gus. But whats with the distributer in the front?

Is that a super trick Smallblock Chevy turned around backwards [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Damn gus, you get all the girls!

Glad to see it has progressed alot since I saw it, now that motor choice is a different matter...everyone knows that to be super-racerific-rat-rod-ruler, you need a 2.8. Anyway, we will leave the ruling to Hack, looking good man! -Joe

  24. I had been waiting for update pic's too. looks great, I
love the frame and structure. Those nerf bars in back are
    perfect.

Joe, all leave the 2.8's to the hackmiester

Tyler, stoled the push bars and the trunk latches from Tony Nancy's 22jr
