2 Oldsmobile questions 1959

I have a 59 Olds 2dr ht and I was wondering if the front glass is the same as a 60 Chevy 4 dr sedan? They appear the same...but?

I was also curious if a 394 4bbl intake could be used on a 371 motor, both 59 models. Thanks!

The glass is different, hardtops interchange and sedans interchange but hardtops will not interchange with sedans. The manifold will fit both engines.

 

As 57J2 said, 59-60 GMs the hardtop and convertible use the same glass. The wagon, sedan, and El Camino use the same glass. The hardtop/convertible glass is about 2 inches shorter.

The 394 intake should fit your 59 371 as I believe yours is the taller deck height that is same as 394's. Will not fit 57-58 371 which are lower deck height.

 

So will a 4 dr ht fit with a 2 dr ht?

 

2 door Hardtop and 4 door Hardtop are the same.
