Well, I know this is been covered before but i am stupid so help me out:D!! I am building a 65 Chevy c10 LB truck w/air ride. Z'd front 4" and notched the rear 8". I am now in the process of trying to figure out if the drive line angles are OK. Here's what i have now... Transmission 5`down, first shaft 8`down, second shaft 1`up, rear pinion 4`down. Does this sound acceptable??

    NO!
The pinion should be rotated down so the angle between the shafts is less and the angle
between the pinion and the rear shaft is the same as the angle betwen the trans and the front shaft is the same. It should look like a big smoth curve with the included angles not exceeding 4 degrees.
I have a diagram used for 60 Chevies which looks like what I described. I can post the diagram but I can't get to it right now
