Hot Rods 2 piece mag wheels, who-how many makers

    cleaning up i found a pair of mag wheels. the centers are aluminum and bolted into steel rims ? couldnt find a name on them but the are spokes like early americans. any guesses

    Saw some E-T's like that at the j-yard last week. And some other no name 5 spokes also. I think they were common in the sixties.

    Hurst made some Mag centers and Steel chrome rims in the late sixties early seventies... I used to have a full set for a ford 5 on 4 1/2 pattern. Hot Rod Magazine said they were the Rarest Rims ever made, But I had already sold mine on a car. Pissed At Self Ever Since

    I once had a set of Mickey Thompson wheels that were mag centers with chromed steel rims. They were 60's stuff, and looked similar to your photos, as I recall.

    Cragar Made wheels like that as well so did Felco,,those look liek early Keystones
