My Son and I are looking at the Atlas bp9000 2 post lift. We are using post because of space restrictions in our shop. Anyone have any experience with one of these or offer up any advice.

    TIA

If you don't have the height in your building to run a standard Two post then the base plate style is really the only option.
The only real down side is the base plate gets in the way of the ****** jack when pulling transmissions, otherwise I never minded working on one.

I have that lift. I built a deck so to speak that straddles the base plate. It's made from 1/2" plywood 4'x8' and no problem with the trans jack. Great quality and fast shipping. If you aren't sure about your slab thickness (or safety minded) order the extra bolt down hardware.
I lift my 99 Yukon with no problems.
