Firstly, Part of my safety fail was that there is a slight leak from my r/r brake mstr cylinder. I tore it apart and it looks perfect on both sides of it. Should there be a obvious failure to a part?

second, can anyone sell me a rear brake drum for my 55 Dodge Coronet?

    Thanks, Tom

  2. I'm ***uming you meant the right rear wheel cylinder? Regardless, if it's leaking, the cup seals are shot or the bore is scuffed, or both...

try napa (if they are in canada) for a replacement.

Any of the local stores in my area can hardly find a spark plug for a flathead ford. but napa can find almost anything I need off my shoebox.

Bumper to Bumper can probably get a new cylinder for a buck or so more than a rebuild kit. Drums too. We got that stuff for a '49 Merc and a '48 Chev from them, no problem.

yes we have NAPA, but not bumper to bumper. I did just buy and complete honing the cylinder, It did have rough spots. I did it very lightly and it came out like new. I am gonna try it as is to see if leak stops.
can someone tell me what type of brake fluid this old manual brake system would use?
