IMG_5322.jpeg Here’s a knob I made . I used super glue to glue the plastic to the aluminum. But the glue gave up after a couple years . I had scuffed up the aluminum before gluing it together

  4. I seen several different color plastic discs.
Can be bought translucent or solid.
Just about any thickness or diameter.
There’s also glow in the dark and lighted skateboard wheels

    alll kinds of possibilities

So, I ordered a couple of those white boots and they actually fit the old Hurst shift boot plate. IMG_4533.jpeg IMG_4534.jpeg IMG_4535.jpeg IMG_4536.jpeg IMG_4537.jpeg

Very cool shifting boot . Is that a penny smashing souvenir machine in the background? The motor and pulley belted together? I enjoy Your post . Your collection of treasures in the background always fascinates me

I would just about bet they were done on pad printing machines. Way back in my college days, I worked at a promotional product factory, and we used a motorized version of this:

We had two station machines that would do two colors, but you get the concept. If you ever wondered how they got that fine lettering and such onto hot wheels, now you have your answer.

The shift knobs are sweet. Doing one with some Bones wheels would be way cool:

IMG_3330.jpeg IMG_3329.jpeg IMG_3328.jpeg Thanks Anthony for the ideas, turned out ok - sure beats the plastic T handle, I’ll make another one using 1-1/2 tubing instead of 1-3/8.
