Does anyone know what's inside the 2-speed switch for a (typical) 40's Chrysler Corp car or how they obtain the 2 speeds?
    The (cleaned-up) schematic is C25 Wiper Circuit.jpg

I have one unit & the switch that works fine, and a 2nd unit that doesn't without a switch. There are some NOS switches on the 'net for oodles of money, but this would be considered a spare. Is there a generic switch that could work, or does it have to be specific to the Chrysler brand?
The innards of the wiper motor; has AUTO-LITE 6V-EWB 4001 stamped on reverse side of the small plate at right

you could do some testing with an Ohm meter and figure out what the switch contacts do in all 3 positions (off low hi) then you'd maybe be able to figure out how it all works.
