Ok there are 2 swap meets this coming sunday in Mn. One is in New Ulm Mn and the other is in Alexandria Mn. I have never been to either one and both are about a 2 hr drive for me. Has anyone here been to either one that can tell me if it is worth the drive???
New Ulm is 75 minutes from you Alexandria is 120 minutes from you Both look more like 1 day car shows for 4-5 hours with "Swap Meet and "CRAFTS" So not really sure how much hard core swap meet vendors you'll get for 4-5 hour show. Hope you find a local from both who gives you the scoop. If not, it's a crap shoot which ever one you pick. New Ulm is 45 minutes less drive time compared to Alexandria from Mound is about the difference. Maybe weather may persuade the decision. Good luck which one you choose.
Just talked to Eric Hendrickson and he said New Ulm is also a 10 vendor swap, so I guess I am staying home
Hey guys, I was in the shop actually putting the freshened engine back in the 40. Car show turned out nice but swap just hasn’t taken off. Only 4-5 local guys…On the bright side there wasn’t any glassware, precious moments, or candles!
