Your (seldom seen)car looks perfect now, good call on the wheel color. :)

  2. The car I'm talking about goes back to 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, when my brother in law bought it new.

How far away is the white wall from the rims with those Calli tires? Also what size tires are these

I'll try to get a better picture for you tomorrow, there's still some black between the rim and white wall but not much at all. The tire size is 205/75R14

image.jpeg I had Diamondbacks make mine 2-1/4" for my 56 Ford. I asked and the said they could make them any way I wanted.

    Posting whitewall pictures :p Please don't. :D

  9. To the OP... love the transformation of your car from the white letters to the wide whites. If it wasn't for the later model pickup in your ww photo, the pic practically seems like it is 'from back in the day' on that old house & tree lined street.

Thanks, I really think the new tires and repainted rims make the car look 10 times better than when I got the car.

I had a 56 hardtop that was the clone of that one years ago..........312 stick. Loved that car, wish I still had it.. Yours looks fantastic.

  13. It's funny, it's more about the lighting in the before & after shots, but there is almost the subliminal suggestion of the after photo suggesting the restored/renewed version of the car. :)

True, it also doesn't hurt that I washed the car right before I took the second photo where the first photo was the day I rolled it off the truck from it's drive up to NJ from GA
