Instead of trying to match the paint on the doors you'll be buying, why not buy the doors and deck lid , then trade them plus some $ to Gary for the already painted doors and deck lid he took off your shell? That would give you a more complete, paint matched body.

 

Why stop there? I vote, flip the top, slide it back (forward?) and make a Deora style truck/van thing. lol

I bought a complete 62 corvair that was running /driving about 2 years before I got it for $125.00, and thought that was a deal! Yea, then I tried selling for a year.... no one wanted it.

I robbed a bunch of engine parts off it for a Rampside, then had a friend said he'd give me $300 for it and was going to make a 4 wheel drive out of it. I couldn't get it gone faster!

I pulled the buckets and let him have it. Now he wants to sell it and can't get rid of it, so if you need some parts.......let me know. He wants the whole thing gone. It's even got a ***le!!!

 

you did good if you score them up this way they are usually pretty rusted out , clarks corvair parts shop is on my way to work
