Hello Slicks, If the people want change and the oppertunity has raised some attention to a second car pile up would there be any reason we can not not try. I for one would love to see a drag race on a airport runway. We could race club cars against each other. See who has the right stuff. I know they have a great relationship with the local law..and offer a number of other extra frills. Very loose women in McHenry Co. Just a thought...No politics...just slicks. BSB
instead of looking for trouble just start your own show at that airport, I didn't realize that all shows in Il. must have pile up in the name. If your in communication with the airport then do it. Are you looking for people on this board to start it for you so you can the go to it? Are you looking for support, as in, people saying "cool I'd go!" or are you just fuckign with the Czar's again?? If you want to start your own show, then more power to you. A few shows were started after being inspired by the Pileup, BilletProof, Lonestar Roundup, etc... Hell, that's how the Pileup started... but no one calls their shows the "Second Roundup" or the "New Paso" or "Pileup Jr." or the "Round 'em Up" etc. Good luck
Call it the "Landing Strip Cruise In" make it your own, and make it fun. Start simple, and it'll grow from there. Do it bi-annually or something like that.
So, I'm wondering what the hell a "smoth serface" is...does it have anything to do with starting your own rod run...I'm wonder ing if "smoth serface" has ever had any experience on putting on a rod run and any idea what kind of work goes into one...I'm really wondering why "smoth serface" likes to start shit after he was told the move ain't going to happen... When I was in the USAF, I spent 4 years in Anchorage. There's a place up there called "The Great Alaskan Bush Company" and of course, it is a WONDERFUL topless establishment.. ahem... Anyway, they used to do a fundraiser carwash every summer. Of course, they did it behind a 6' fence, and there were ALWAYS people waiting in line to get their cars and trucks washed. I was thrilled when I got a 3rd vehicle so's I could get 3 washed in one day! Yeah, I'm a pig.... deal with it... lol

I used to be at Elmendorf too. I also worked down the street from there at American 4 Wheel Drive. They must have had nice women there. I used to see them drive in in alot of high dollar cars before they opened each day.
