  2. No sir, it's the Cloud Museum in Winter haven, California. HRP

  3. So that's where all of the Model A's have been hiding.

  4. Winterhaven is JUST before Yuma Arizona. It has 2 churches and 2 weed shops in a town just bigger then a parking lot......nice.

  5. That will be quite an auction at some point!

I have a cousin that lives in Peoria, Arizona and we are planning a visit this summer, the museum is just a few hours away and this could make the visit a lot more interesting.

Been there many times. Spectacular collection of cars and memorabilia , and everything runs. Finished parade quality cars in the barns.

Sadly the total value is declining every day as goes the generation that used and play(ed) with them.

This reminds me of my old friend who also had gas powered washing machines and a killer saw blade contraption just like that one. Sadly, we all grow old and die and the new generation scraps this stuff.

Winterhaven, went boating water skiing there on the Colorado river many years ago.

Remember getting chased across the border in SanLuis Mexico by some banditos in a '64 cheby low rider one night

  21. That is for sharing HRP !!!

I could get lost for days in a place like this .

sad thing is as the curators of these great collections pass and these massive hoards get sold off the prices will drop substantially in the next few years .

I see the auctions sites and stuff around me is starting to sell 70’s and 80’s stuff and ridiculous prices . I guess I’m the old guy with disposable income now ?

im seeing 80’s Hondas and vw’s bringing insane money . Along with all the smogged out “ muscle cars of the same era that we all drove as nobody wanted them in the 90’s :D:D

Things really do go full circle .

Now while I see pre 1950 dropping in value as more and more of it floods the market I got a feeling 50’s and 60’s era stuff will hold its value as most of the population think they are cool and with power steering and power brakes started becoming standard , easier to drive also .

I love my 40 merc but with the tiny rear window , shitty mirrors and the way the car bulges in the Center , it’s pretty much just one big blind spot !!!!!

Still love driving it , but need to pay that much closer attention when I do .
