As I understand it, autos are out period. I do believe that the Hornets are still running one, but they will have to go to a standard this year. There should be a post in this forum on the rules for this year. All are basically the same.
I did a search....HA/GR Rules and got several threads but didn't read 'em all. Maybe I should've but I'm kinda busy in the shop and decided to ask instead. So autos are for sure out?
Ok! hears the deal,the autos are out for the Hamb drags except for the Hornets who were grandfathered in and they are supposed to go to a stick some time in 07. You will have to ask Ryan when that is cause I'm not sure. Now, you read about the six race HA/GR series that Bob Hindman is going to run at Tulsa and mabe elsewhere for 07 that will pay money and points. It will be run on the Hamb rules EXCEPT autos are in for the Hindman series,go figure. There is a few cars being built to run that series with autos. So, the guys with the autos can't run with the HA/GR cars at Mokan but the guys with the sticks can run EVERWHERE. Is that confusing enough for ya?
There will also be a couple race dates at the 1/8th in Lawton and hopefully at TVR for these cars as well. There will be no purse for these races...but last year we did get free entry and were fed by the track at Lawton. All will be welcome to run and have fun. I will post race dates as soon as I get them.
