    You're selling yourself short Chris.

I sold my original M&H Racemaster pie crusts to his brother last fall for gas money to get to the DOTD. Cool car, cool family.

That's legal. If you start barrel rolling down the track, you want the momentum to leave the car.

Standard equipment.. Get the "momentum Weight" away from the car and driver in a crash. Think of how many dragster crashes you have seen that the camera follows a flipping, rolling engine all the way down the track... menwhile the driver is unstrapping and cussing way back where it started.:D

  7. Had the same set up in my sprint car. Lets the frame twist a bit as the engine is not tied in solid. Seems like the more the ch***is flexed the faster the car went. Put the car through a fierce bunch of flips and the engine remained in the car. It did move around quite a bit but it did stay in through a 7 roll series of tumbles>>>>.

There are so many threads with pictures I may post to several of them so some of the folks I personally talked to can find them.

Here are my pictures from the event!

Ok, Makes sense now that the light has been shed. I guess I'm a little more used to thinkin you want the motor to stay in. Have'nt spent much time around rail cars though. Thanx, B

Talked to the guys with the LUMP at the hotel after they did their own little "cackelfest"!

That motor sounds as good as it looks. Roller cammed olds with a lot of compression. Not a non vintage piece on there that I could see.
