I laughed when they said it was a contender, after seeing it again the old boat didn't look bad, hopefully the shows new owners will wait till the show starts before they pick the winner!

the show closed at 7pm tonight. the awards were scheduled to start at 5pm west coast time. I was there earlier but was too tired to hang around for the awards.
It's sort of strange that this award has become so.... I dunno... irrelevant??? In any case, I don't like this car. At all... And you fellas know that it's pretty damn rare for me to say that about any car.
Who cares!!!, the whole damn show is about money and fame....... they aren't paying anyone, even the traditional hot rodders in the suede palace to show their cars---the cars make the show what it is. It's all backwards!!! Spend $200K, build a fucking AMBR car, when a fucking award........woo hoo!!!
I just went for the $8.00 beers. In the pic that Ryan shows, the car in the background (fellow Torontonian) should have got the award. That '36 is what a true custom should be. KNUX! "TimeBomb John", Hands down!!!
