what the hell is that rear window out of ?

 

I saw it mentioned somewhere maybe Rikster's thread on the Autorama. I think it was some 40's chev but I may be wrong.

 

Im not sure what the rear window is, I have left George a message and asked him. So ill let you know when I find out! Heres another few.

Nice, are they all side shots or will you have other angles of the cars?

 

98% are going to be side views, two reasons. They were packed in so tight that I couldnt get a front or 3/4 shot. and most of the guys that love these cars its all about the profile, how the roof flows to the trunk, what the fenders are doing and the stance. Whether its a nose down slammer or *** down speed boat, thats what they like to see, and thats what these cars are all about. This wont be the only book I put out on cars. There will lots more and maybe on just certain cars then there will many more different angles. Hope that it doesnt keep you away from buying a book though.

 

Your 100% right. To me the side view tells all and watching how the body
lines flow is pure ****. It won't keep me from buying it.....You just threw
more gas to the fire.

Bump! There is still a book coming! Promise, almost done with pics and then on to the history for each car!

 

Why is this interior lit up on this picture and it was not lit up at the show ?????? I hope there are no special effects going into these pics for the book ?

 

nope no special effects. Yours and this interior I wanted lit up. I lit this one up with one of my lights. Not a special effect, dont worry.

Update: I have started to talk to a Publisher for these photos. It turns out that putting out a book this big is not easy, so im getting help. It might take longer but in the end it will be a better book and cheaper for you guys.

Ok! I am chomping at the bit for this! Are there any tentative release dates???

 

I can't wait for this one. PLEASE make it hardback!!
