Any of you guys have a good knowledge on the 200R4 chevy tranny, I Tried to look for info on the tech side but nothing. My question is, does anyone know if it will bolt to a Chevy straight 6 like a mid sixties 250 or 292 without an adapter and what did they come in so i can look. thanks, Greaserchief
It's been a while, but seems like I pulled a V-6 with a 200 auto out of my '78 Chevy Malibu. Put a 350 small block back in along with that 200 since it would bolt up & spun it within a week. Carl Hagan
I have a 2004r bolted up to my 250 6cyl. Bolts right up. Be sure to get one with the Chevy bolt pattern or on that has bothe the BOP and the chevy bolt pattern. The t/c uses METRIC bolts to bolt it to the flywheel. (thanks squirell, wherever you are).
