  5. Was back in Oklahoma last week visiting a buddy, his cousin comes in and said he saw an old car out in the middle of nowhere while he was hog huntin.
So we hop in the truck and drive out into the country ( 20 miles down a dirt road).
Get to a fence line and have to walk in about 250 yards to a clump of trees. Can't see anything until we get about 30 feet away.
    Then we spot this.
It's now in my buddys shop.
Some one cut the frame off @ the firewall, but a new freame and front end group ain't gonna be too hard to find.
Still has some of the orginal paint and pinstripe oon it and only 2 bullet holes.
All the hard to find parts are there.

Found this one at my Sister-in-laws, Father-in-law's garage after he passed away last week. We "found" it on 12-31... Hope to dig it out soon. '29 Modle A Sport Coupe

So I came home one day and found a note on my door.
I had to Jump in my truck and drive becuse it would take to long to run next door. I have been Jacken this guy since 81 when the block broke to sell me this thing.

First photo is from my place, Street, His place.

Believe it or not this guy cleaned up before I took the photos with the wrong dates. Didn't quite get it running before summer was out. Hell,,, I was 800 Bucks lighter in the back pocket.

I scored a sprint car chassis today for a 150 bucks !!! Had the camera in hand and forgot to take pics. (was in a rodder moment. lol ) I am gonna widen it and make a street legal sprint car.

And my dad got a MGB GT today as well got those pics..............

  24. The chopped and channeled 3 window was in storage for over 35 years, I picked it up this past summer and have been doing some updates.
The chopped and channeled 40 coupe was not a 'barn find' but it was new to me and it was almost not recognizable as the custom that had a brief appearance in Rebel Without a Cause and Hot Rod Girl. I have been doing some updating (backdating?) for the time being. I plan to take it back to it's custom roots from it's original build dating back to 1948.
