Thank you. Just met with the Shroeders of Shroeder steering & components in Burbank , he's hooking us up with many guys who own early board track race cars as well as indy and midgets. Cool stuff is happening lately

What we are still looking for:

    Early 60's ( 1961-1963 ) 409 Impala drag racer A/FX or Super Stock

    A couple of jalopy racers

Making arrangements this weekend for sure. I found a really cheap ticket and I hope it there tonight.

The board track cars would be awesome to see!

    Axle,

Swing over to www.vanderbiltcupraces.com and check out Howard Kroplick's 1909 ALCO racer. This car competed in two Indy 500's and later the Vanderbilt Cup. Howard is a great guy who loves nothing more than driving and sharing the car's history with anyone who's interested.

Leave Howard a message and see what happens. Just a thought.

    Kurtis.

Very cool additions, I'd really dig seeing both those famous and influential cars "in the steel"!

More cars added. These cars are owned by Adail Gayhart . The orange and white Opperman car is one of the most important of the era (early 70’s), The blue is also significant, and the early track roadster is considered by many to be the most authentic of the survived roadsters active today.

  19. axle ...

I'm really glad Tom is going to share some of his wonderful collection @ the 2010 GNRS.

I don't mean to "look a gift horse in the mouth" ... and I know he already showed it @ the '07 GNRS ... but any chance he'll be bringing the famous Williams Bros. B'ville Roadster?

    Funny you should ask Meatball,

We've got Don Orosco's recently restored ultra rare All American F1 Scarab Transporter along with two fully restored F1 race cars that will be parked on top of and next to the Transporter!
