Great list For a guy coming from Australia it would be great to get some addresses and details of these shows. I'm going to be around for 6-8 weeks in July, Aug, Sept mainly on the east coast and across to the mid west and hope to catch some events. Recommendations welcome too. Thanks, Pete

Still need date(s) for the Road Devils Boston. I heard it might be the same day as the Rumblers Brooklyn show. If it is I would urge them to pick a different date.

There is even a third show in Willimantic CT on the Sept 11th this year! I've been talking to the promoter now since he hasn't officially started promoting to find a different date
They did and I Agree.. Unfortunately our show is on same day as Gasket Goons.. but thats not really this area.. But Im pretty aware of every show and venue and find it hard not to communicate with other people to get a heads up on dates.. My 2 cents.. esp where there throwing there show.. would hate to throw a show at the same spot as another clubs spot nor book a show the same day ..
Agreed... there needs to be more communication as more and more shows began to turn-up. Every year the HRFO was falling on the Gathering of the Faithful. There is a considerable distance between to the two shows but we finally were able to secure the weekend before the Gathering. Which I'm stoked about. It sucked missing it every year. I didnt even realize the Sin Alley Saints show falls on the same day of the GG show.... Guess I'll be hitting them both

conflicting dates do suck...last year we had a conflict with the alter boys ...couple messages ...wala ...dates no longer conflict...it is tough with such a short amount of time in the season...we try n post our dates usualy the same day as the show for the followin year...if not by nov or dec its out there...its bound to happen... what sucks is makin people have to make a choice...
In a season so short nobody appriciates their toes getting stepped on. I don't, our club dosen't, and I'm sure the other clubs who have had a similar experience do not. After jumping through all the hoops one has to just to throw a show, it's just a kick in the face for anyone to stick it to ya and take the same day, or venue, or both. It's an even bigger a%$ rash if "bigfoot" has attended your show before and knows who's doing what, where and when. Having said that, I have to admire the enthusiam of anyone who is willing to throw more than 2 shows in any season. That's hard work, and decisions have to be made reguradless of who you might offend. I'm not agreeing with those choices, but this is America you can do what you want, and God Bless America!!! For the date overlap issue with Rodz And Reelz At The Rustic and The Airport Drags Reunion I think a good solution is this. The Drag Reunion starts very early in the morning. Rodz`And Reelz gates don't open until 4pm. Why not do both? After the movies there are several mom and pop style motels within walking distance of the show. If your not up for so much travel in one day, stay the night. We have worked out a discount room rate for show patrons. Pete is right, it's a small community and I hope that word travels fast that you can do both events. Besides I'd much rather be tearing up the road in my ride than just going from home to a show and back home again.
right on ....it sucks the orange show is the same date..,..my friend john made the date....????? may of 09 for this...17 months ago? due to faa airport ect....holy loooopholes....haha....im bummed this is the same day.... if possib get yer dates up asap...i have hitt two shows in a day or wknd more then once./........
It is no ones fault, just a lot of shows in a short season in a locale with lousy weather. If you want to schedule a new show check the MAAC list referenced above, email your date to Jack at maynardaac@aol.com with details... This is a small club (200 members) but Jack does try to put out up to date info on all New England meets (and beyond). We have a great newsletter, if you are in the Maynard Mass. area check us out.
What we need is more winter time events to get us together. Come Novemeber it's "hot rod hibernation" We need more movie nights, nostalgia nights and open houses. I would also like to get together a polar bear run for next year.
In true Rumblers Fashion we Too are going to cause conflict, We had a date and then The Almighty Goodguys came and took it. So we found a new one then that was taken. I posted our show was on the 19th of June GUESS WHAT we have a personal conflict with that date too so , Just to piss more people off we changed the date to June 12th SAME PLACE Terryville Fairgrounds. Hopefully Deez Nuts will attend and everyone will be happy.
