2011post DixieFried/now Silverscreen&gasoline go or no go?

I have been trying to get a feel for the now old, Atlanta Road Kings Dixie Fried car show(now called Silversreen and Gasoline show) at the starlight six drive in on Moreland ave in Atlanta. We did not attend last year but had been every other year since DF#2. My buddies and I have really had a good time up there in the past. Its far enough of a drive for us to always have an adventure taking the back roads and really see some different sights. We also dig the swap meet across form road atlanta raceway. Theres always some old large heavy whatever that we have to figure out how to drag back to florida. Of course we go for all these fun reasons but we also want to see cool old iron. Its always a good time with great bands like the psycho devils. I love the fact that no one messes with you and you can bring coolers full of beer ,food ,your grill, tents , lounge car whatever. The Road Kings were always top notch guys friendly even when frustrated and over run in the hot sun. Our next choice is the rumblers show in Ormond Beach at The Iron Horse Saloon. I know that will be jam packed with pre 64 rides and cool folks. Not much of a drive for us though. We go down to daytona to the turkey run every year.
