  4. ....some poor ratrod hooligan got a non-locking knife (not my first choice for stabbing car tires) thrust into his skinny whites for dorking a rival car gang member's orca-betty girlfriend in the back seat of his Plymouth Cranbrook.....too much PBR that night, too much heated passion, perhaps just too much period.

To answer your statement of earlier, I am not a "syntax nazi" or whatever your colloquialism of choice was, but, to be open: I am a mechanical voyuer.

Being of an observant nature, I find myself looking at what surrounds me and pondering on how it affects me. Do I find the subject alluring? grotesque? irrelevant?, is the subject worth looking deeper into.

I do not have talent, Yousuf Karsh had talent. I observe, reflect and read instructions.

Here, everyone starts out on the same playing field, look at SamIyam's progression at welding.

Your comment about why the HAMB is here in the first place is easily understood: Ryan was lonely and desired knowledge.

Desire is what takes the mundane and common place, to exceptional. I have seen more people on here take themselves from the run of the mill fabricators and have driven themselves to the realms of artists and craftsmen.

Finally as to pictures, the only thing that I do, that may draw a line between me and you, is that I read the instructions for this thread and chose to break them.

Ok fellas, that will do it. And in the words of Ozzy for this next step in the process, "let the madness begin!" :D

I can say that the cover slot is taken. The back cover is still up for grabs, but I think I know what it will end up being. There are probably 7 shots that I know are going in automatically, so then I get to start the agony of choosing the rest to compliment the rest as an overall piece. Definitely a challenge, but I am funny like that.

And with that, Good night and good luck! :D
