Last I knew they were trying to build a recreation. I didn't make this show this year so I'm not sure ???
The Pushrods Roadster is long gone. There has been talk over the last 2 years of building a replica to run the nostalgia circuit, but, I dont think it will happen anytime soon. A replica model has been made though
A buddy of mine, Bill Chaplis, was a member of the Push Rods, built that model. Its fantastic. He lives in Emmaus PA. now.
Guess that was a fairly good runner, I have a photo of it along side "Alley Oop" at Dover in what looks like the LowET awards. When I find it I'll post it.
Thanks for the reminder about Saturday. Last night's weather report stated possible 50 degree temps for Saturday. (It was 11 degrees at my home yesterday morning in Middlesex County) I think we can bring out the hot rods for this one. I'll see you folks there! Jim
