2012 Ventura Nationals Reliability Run!!!

So I had a meeting with John Parker today about a reliability run and it's a go!

Sunday at 3pm the run will leave the Ventura Nationals show and head north on the 101. We will then head through the hills just east of Carpentaria passing Lake Casitas. We will then head down the old Ventura avenue and end at Noble Fabrication where he will be having his open house with BBQ and bands.

The run will be free for all participants of the Ventura Nationals show.

Sounds like a great excuse to take a drive along some beautiful country roads! I'm in!

 

It is a go Noble Fab will have the grill fired up and ready for us when we get there.

 

Bitchin. Even if the weather is shit at the fairgrounds that weekend, it should be nice up the 150.

I talked to matt & decided to post this here & get this back to the top.

If I can get some intrest there is a Yard 1 block off the Run corse that I can get Open if anyone wants to make a stop & dig thru a bunch of Parts left when this Ol Hudson guy passed.

There is Hudson Body Parts, Many small block Chevys,8" & 9" Rear Ends, Hudson Engines, Jag OHV 6 cyl engine, Cadillac 472 engines, Parts all over the yard .. HubCaps, Carbs, Transmissions & a Bunch of Cool Dash parts off variuos cars.

If there is enough of you who want this I can make it Happen.

Post it up & P/M .... It wont happen if no one wants to go.

You should really rout that down Santa Ana to the lake instead of thru Oak View on Ventura ave.

Way more scenic & you will be driving on the road that was actually featured in SMOKEY & THE BANDIT !


And from there your only 1 Block from the Treasures in Wilmas back yard !

All the work will be worth it when we have a bunch of killer rides cruising around the lake.

 

I've been there,It's a pretty cool yard and if you like digging. Some real cool stuff still there. The ride is worth the drive.

How many of you would like to Root The pile at Wilmas house Sunday ?

I will need to make arrangments & get there before everyone else & Open it up !

 

Talked to quite a few people this weekend at gambinos and it looks like the run will have tons of killer Kustoms and hot rods. Post a picture of what you'll be driving on the run.

And remember its FREE to all cars registered in the show.
