Gotta give Chris credit, I didn't even do the run, but man, looking at these pics, he sure picked some GREAT locations. I saw pics of the Waterville Auto co. right in the first batch, and man, what a great backdrop. And the natural scenery is pretty incredible too. Makes me want to just go explore these areas, hell, it would even be fun in a Toyota. Great job Chris.

Chris.....thanks again for a great show. My (2)two most favorite cars there, were your car and your buddy's 51. I'm just drawn to cars like that because they remind me of the way it really was. I also have a 51 coupe (shown a couple of time at Vantage). I enjoyed talking to you at the event, but I guess I didn't realize it was you....(Chris). It seems like we have the same tastes. And thanks for including a picture of my car.

 

Any plans in the works for a 2016 run?

 

Yeah. Inquiring minds want to know...

 

As of now the show is up in the air...there are lots of other events happening all over the state the same weekend, as well as the hillclimb that a couple guys are going to. So we talked about a date change. I told the club that it would be nice for another couple members to handle the run this year, as I have done most of it since it started. So far no one has gotten that enthusiastic about it. So we will see. I will let you guys know the dates if we do it.

 

Wow I can't even image what my brain would do if I stumbled across that neat looking hotel with the parking lot 99% filled with cool rides like that. I'd probably just fall over lol.

If any of us on the west side can help keep this event going please let me know. I don't have a whole club to count on to make it happen but I'm sure willing to help if I can. Driving over the Cascades in old heaps we built ourselves is too damn fun.....
