Thanks to Mickey @straykatkustoms and his crew for another fine show! Weather was great. @Rick & Jan was nice to meet you and congrats on your award.
Fantastic pictures. Looking at where some of them are parked, I'd say they're, umm, just plane crazy [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Nope. It was at the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, KS. The place used to be the Wichita Municipal Airport and is adjacent to the McConnell AFB.
Thanks for posting the pictures looked like another great gathering . I do enjoy the Starliner and have attended in the past . Its the same weekend as Newkirks Charlie Adams Day my Son in Law and his partner in crime decided to be in the bar b que cook off so I stayed home and supported them.
Great pictures of some really cool cars, the gold Model A sedan with fuel injection and slicks rings my bell... Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Great Pics! Great show! The garage krawl was a blast. Mick and the rest of the Straykats put on two of the best events I've ever been to. We met a lot of super people and were reunited with others from the 500. I was introduced to Sancho by Too Tall Okie, we were having a nice conversation when they called my name for an Award and I left him hanging, my apologies Sancho. Get the Plymouth running and we'll continue our talk at the 500 next May!
Thanks. Perfect venue for a car show for us old Air Force guys. I was TDY at Forbes the beginning of 1969 for the first Reforger Exercise. That was one cold flightline.
I made a margarita mixer out of an old weedeater several years ago. I was pretty proud of myself for my mechanical ability and insightful thinking. ****! This feller at the Starliner made me feel woefully inadequate. I don't know his name but he is my new best hero! A nailhead Buick probably produces enough power for a mixer, I think.
