Want to make plans for the 2018 GNRS . I'll be bringing my daughter & Grand daughter, so want a "lady" friendly place - must be smoke free. I would welcome any recommendations for safe motels/hotels in & around Pomona. We'll be flying into Ontario on Jan 25 - leaving on 29 & will have a rental car. I have stayed at the Sheraton Ontario on previous trips, but seems it has gone down a little & they no longer offer the shuttle to the Fair Plex. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

When we attend the Fathers Day roadster show or the GNRS we stay in nearby San Dimas. There is a Best Western there that is always nice. There are a few quaint little towns in the area that have shops and restaurants. (Roadys for breakfast)

Usually you can snoop though Bookings.com and see what motels and hotels in any area offer and read the reviews of those places. I've had pretty good luck with them.
Since it involves your daughter and granddaughter be willing to spend a few more bucks for the room so it becomes a safe and special trip for them.
I was planning on retiring in time to make a "retirement trip" to GNRS but don't think it will work now. Two spendy vacations and buying too many parts and tools have slowed that down a bit.

And fortunatly smoking isn't allowed most everywhere, so it's all relatively 'smoke free'.

We always stay near Ontario Mills Mall. It is a newer area and quite nice. The drive to Expo Center parking is about 20 minutes on the freeway.
