NO LIVE STREAMING!!!! That is, not 'til somebody that knows how to connect the audio from the mixer into the laptop finds me and helps me figure it out. This laptop is a brand new HP and wants a Windows user, not me the Apple guy, to use it.

HELP!!! I'll be on the salt in a little while, kinda hanging around the announcing trailer as it gets set up. Please come find me. ............................ Not me but SSS who will stream when he can

    Latest SCTA update.

    Tom G.

    SW 2019 Update #7 (8/8/19):
Inspection opened this morning and approximately 70 vehicles were inspected. The Blue Line was put down, comms put up, wire layed for clocks and the Timing Tower is up & running. And then we got hit by a brief squall with wind, rain & hail and there is a small amount of standing water. As of now, the Driver?s Meeting will still be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. We may post pone the start of racing a day or two, but better weather is expected from now on. At this time, we expect to still go racing.Gates open tomorrow @ 7:00 a.m. and Inspection & Registration opens at 9:00 a.m.

JUST A REMINDER, THE NEW SPEED LIMIT FOR THE ACCESS ROAD IS 45 MPH.

    See ya on the salt!

Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. we will start racing. There will be no Pre-Stage it is first come first serve and the number of courses for Tuesday will be determined. If you go past the six it is in bad shape. Short course vehicles must shut down at the 3 mile and the Rookie Course vehicles must shut down at the 2 mile. Rookie orientation is tomorrow (Monday)at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and Wed-Thurs at 11:00a.m. at the Registration Trailer.

I Found this just now. http://www.scta-bni.org/live-streaming.html
    .
Means us west coast guys probably need to check it a bit before 06:60 or just before Tomorrow (8-13) if we want to catch it from the start
Start time as it stands is at 07:30 US Mountain time zone for those in far flung time zones to be able to figure when to tune in.

I didn't say it it was in the copy and paste thing from SCTA. If you have ever been to Bonneville you good and well know that once you are a mile or so from the end of the road some clowns always think they need to kick it up to a hundred or more on the access lane across the salt to the pits and race course. Usually some spectator in a clapped out late model rather than someone in a rod though.

Oh how I wish that I could be there. Took the entire family out there in 2014. Nothing but water as far as you could see. Maybe next year

We couldn't wait for Tuesday as we fly back to NZ on Wednesday. Was still great fun cruising on our bicycles in the pits and meeting cool people like RMR&C, George Poteet and Squirrel at the Nugget. JW
