Thank you all for attending the event. Thanks to Bill Cordell for making the long distance trophy. Thanks to the Monitor Hot Rod Cafe staff for serving us all the good food and making this facility such a nice place to gather with our Hot Rods. If any of you Hambers are just p***ing through town I suggest you stop in to sample the Cafe's menu. Several of us car guys bring our Hot rods out on Friday evenings for dinner when the weather allows. Which is most of the summer.

I finally got all of the photos I took loaded on my Smugmug album. Including a couple of shots of Dave's banger motor and I even got a shot of the tractor wagging the engine with engine stand down the street hanging from the loader bucket.

It was enjoyable to get to visit with folks there, see some nifty cars and I did manage to stay out of trouble by making it to where I was supposed to be in time to watch my daughter officially get engaged.

That 36 has a seriously sweet sounding set of pipes on it. The Gray 56 Vicky in some of my photos sounded great too but Y blocks are supposed to sound sweet.

This blue truck. I'd think we pretty well all got to talk to each other but may not have put faces to names. IMG_9778 (2).JPG
