Hope the turn out is good. I have a couple things in the cl***ifieds that I'm planning on bringing to sell in the swap meet.
I’m hoping for my own good turnout. I’m hoping this used Toploader I just put in will function! Lots of changes , last minute ****on up as usual. Maybe I should drag out a pile of swap meet stuff as a backup plan?!? Someone who won’t get struck by lightning, please say a prayer for me....
Ladder bars are nuetraled. Changed rear shock mountings and adjusted for a starting point. Inner springs on and valves adjusted. Still a lot on the list. Car moves forward in all gears and backs up. Hope to drive after I change oil. I hope like hell this used Toploader I threw in it will shift. Had a nasty looking synchro. It’s the only one I have that’s together. Like always, it’s a gold plated **** show!!!!! Wish me luck I need it
Good luck man I wish I could be there but my car isn’t fixed and the money man hasn’t visited in awhile lol Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Getting things ready for this weekend. Planning to arrive sometime Thursday afternoon, along with two of my brothers and one of my nephews. By the way, I just checked 3D Sound's website and the Thursday cruise-in at Sam's is cancelled. http://www.3dsound.org/calendar_2009.php
Can people set up for camping on Thursday or do they have to wait til Friday? The guys that help us are bringing a motor home
Sure looking forward to this event but having spent 50 plus years working between carpentry/ cabinet making and automotive /auto body my 64 year old lungs don't like heat and humidity to much so I will have to see what the weather brings Saturday morning. Late model super crew is air condition so going down and coming back is no problem. Just hope the in between is doable! Hope to see ya there! Larry
Well everything is loaded and ready. SO!! Now we’re under a tornado warning and sirens are going off. I guess if we make it through this we’ll see y’all tomorrow
It rained here, (about 15 miles west of Byron), yesterday afternoon and night. However, it's nice and sunny out, today. Everything should dry out, quickly. The weekend is supposed to be dry, but a bit hot. I just need to load my 55 on the trailer, and then my brothers, nephew and I will be heading over to the strip, this afternoon. Probably ought to mow my lawn first, too. LOL.
I just want to Thank Randy, BJ, Rhonda & the entire Byron Dragway Crew for their hard work & effort to put on the Glory Dayz! My Famliy & Dad had a Great time Racing/Watching... Very lucky to be a part of the event & the Byron Dragway Family! By far one of The Best Dragstrips for family/friends! And for that I Thank You!
