Got some friends driving in for the Roundup from Arizona, so I may go and hang out with them...

** I would like to attend a Stray Kat event such as the 500 or Lead aint Dead but they're always scheduled when I can't go.

 

I'd like to make this some year.

 

Speed week is always on the bucket list as well as any Southeast Gasser's event.

I'm generally in that camp. I do like a good traditional show though.

Why don’t you make a trip to Kentucky this summer ?
I know it’s a long drive,,,,,but,,,,,you’re retired ,, it would be a real interesting event .
Hop in that Vette and cruise it on over .

Now,,,,that would be a swap meet,,,,lol .

It will be a 2 -3 hour drive for me,,,,,,but I’m gonna go if my health holds out,,,,,I’m still doing good at the moment .

I have seen several replies from some guys far away,,,,,,I hope they can make it ,,,,,,I’m really looking forward to meeting them .
Im just a regular guy,,,,,don’t even have a ride yet,,,,,but I’m still trying,,,,,,,and I need to learn all I can before I check out,,,,lol .

Both you guys need to check out the Lone Star Roundup--it has it all, swapmeet (and not wore out, used up speed parts-lots of trad stuff), lots of vendors-national and local, bands that play most of the day, and i won't even mention the hundreds (thousand?)or so rods that come from all over the country, plus show cars, etc.etc. Even the King Hamb man shows up-Ryan.

 

I have attended. I think the last time I went was around 2009.
