Event Coverage 2023 Out-a-Sight Drags

Sorry if there’s already a thread about this. Anyone going this weekend? It’ll be my first time.

 

Dad and will be there with the Valiant. We planned to bring the Dodge, but we found the crossmember the track locator wishbone mounts too was broken off where it is welded to the frame. We will be bringing it to our new chassis guy.

 

My brothers, nephew and I will be there.

 

I'll be there spectating Friday.

 

Heading out shortly. Thought I would give the old Heapster a good flogging!

 

Had a good but abbreviated time at the drags ( thanks UPS ), some really cool stuff there for sure !

I think one of you guys layed a smckdown on me in the Valiant on Saturday! Good times even if i didn't manage any wins.

 

Yes it is. I've owned it for about 46 years. Trailered it up behind my 55 pickup.

 

If one of us did, it was either my brother Bob, (black with white top 57 4 door), or brother Larry with the 59 Impala. Nephew Chuck and I are both low 14 / high 13 second cars.

Yeah, it was a GREAT time. We're all planning to be back next year, as well as at The Glory Days meet next month at Byron Dragway. Additionally, Larry, Bob and Chuck are planning to be at The Fallout in Eau Claire Wis. this fall.
