Event Coverage 2023 Portland Roadster Show Pics

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Taboo56Chevy, Mar 20, 2023.

  1. Well the Portland Roadster Show has come and gone. Was a huge event, took up all the building at the EXPO center. The ratio of show cars to fillers was good due to Portland now being a part of the new West Coast Challenge series making the cars running for points now having to stop in Portland. Place was busy all 3 days during the times I was there. Anyway, here are some of the pictures I snagged from the event.

Not too many car displays, odd. I couldn't make it, being St. Patrick's Day weekend and me a devout...drinker. Thanks for the pics and Taboo looked good!

  8. there was alot of full displays, the area Taboo was was part of the West Coast Kustoms "Kalvacade of Kustoms" display and they were open placements.

Great photos of great cars, thanks for sharing. I didn't make it this year and it looks like I missed a good one.
For those who don't know the Expo center has what are four of five large rooms side by side and at the Roadster show uses three of them that are usually pretty full with the stage and seating set up in one at the far end. It's like going to several shows at the same time and the room that the West coast customs display was in would look like a separate car show than the other rooms.
The show is in C, D and E with E being the main room off the main entrance. A and B usually have a gun show running at the same time. Screenshot (1343).png

  22. Yep D and E halls were where most of the 20x20 and high level show cars were. C hall featured the High School Challenge, a place where local high school students show off their cars and have their own awards. Some other nice cars on display there as well. A hall was nothing but serious 4x4s and sand rails. Then B hall was mainly where the stage for awards was set up.
