Hard to choose a winner from that group. I’ll say the Chevy coupe because it’s different, but I don’t really see it as winning customer of the year.
I like every single one of these and wouldn't be upset no matter which one was picked. It's rare for me to say that, and studying every picture, the only changes I'd make, ***ulatively, is one set of tires and one pair of headlight bulbs. A good looking group, for sure.
Story on the merc https://goodguys.mydigitalpublicati...the-year-finalist?article_id=4778305&i=822382
I have a strong opinion on kustoms and that is there should never be any one thing that jumps out at you when looking at it. Those headlights on that Chevy are all I see. All beautiful cars though.
I like the Olds because it’s a seldom seen model. But is also against it, people are more familiar with the lines of the 36. Any way you slice it, it is a honor to be in the top 10.
Thanks man! Obviously it's a wide array of styles a****st the finalists, which is awesome. I'm honestly dumbfounded that the car is even a finalist. The cars in contention are all so nice, it's a crazy honor just to be in consideration. As far as I'm concerned, I've already won.
Super cool that Richard Zocchi's nephew is carrying on the family tradition of building great custom cars.
My Daughter and I gave Brian our Family Tradition award this year at Goodguys Del Mar Suede and Chrome room. He was also picked for Custom of the Year there that weekend. It’s a really *****IN car!!!!
All in on the merc, restrained but demands your attention. Has that Japanese flair that I really like. Will we be seeing more of this style in the future?
