Event Coverage 2024 Rhinebeck Meet

Great time, saw most of the people I only see at this meet. Meet a lot of HAMB members for the first time. Far more Post WWII vehicles than in past years in the show area. The ARDUN with the ALLARD tag was a first, so were the chromed Ford wires. Friend had some fenders I can use, but will put that deal together at a later date. Bob

 

Well, day two is in the books and I too saw a lot of people that I see at this meet. I met Jim from MA. for the first time, Thank You for the tag topper. For the first time I got to see the entire show field albeit at a slow pace there was some beautiful cars and a lot of cars. I will not be able to report on tomorrow because I won't be there. The owner fired the Ardun up while I was looking at it.

 

'28 Chevy four cylinder power, complete with a stock intake flipped upside down with a Carter W1 from a 216 on it!

 

...and a Dodge Red Ram hemi with an Edmunds intake and what looks like some sort of marine drive on the back.

Nick, like you said, the last Rhinebeck I went to was not worth it. That said, this was the best one I have ever been to. I walked nearly five miles. More than I did at Hershey last year. Rhinebeck was full of early parts. Saw more Deuce stuff than I did at Hershey. The car show looked like it was good also, but I was out of gas after doing the entire swap meet area. So glad I went. wish you made it. Stay well!
