But these photos came from goodguys and fuel curve.
    The blue coupe is killer

Any ideas what that steering box is sitting up on the rail in that 32?

Bill Ganahls shop built the Willy’s very cool they won. Plenty of hamb guys in the running this year.

The channeled coupe might have a build thread here but I can’t remember the Cody’s user name here. I’m sure someone will chime in with it or the steering box answer

@63Biscuit i believe it is a gmc but not a 302. Also think it may have a Wayne 12 port head. Memory is fuzzy at the moment

  16. It’s a 261 Chevy, the same family as the 216, 235

    261 1954-1962 2 ton truck engine.

1958-62 were full flow full pressure oil filter which this engine is, and @Tim is correct it is a WAYNE 12 Port.

Which is an incredibly rare piece for a the later (Pre 1953 I believe. I have never gotten involved with the non pressure Chevy engine) BlueFlame 6 engine, there was a head bolt change at some point in production, an increase in the number of head bolts.

That 32 was badged as a GMC and had a Wayne head engine. For my vote it was the best car there.

Was walking the GNRS this year with my brother and he was transfixed on something and almost walked into this video shot of Bill being interviewed. There were a handful of guys shooting the interview, as I grabbed my bro's sleeve and guided him out of the shot, I caught the eye of one of the shooters who gave me a head bob. Pretty funny moment. Dude is in the zone and producing top shelf work. He deserved the accolades.

    Absolutely, he's building killer cars.

On his Instagram page he shares some pretty cool details, he has stuff up on the Willys of different design detail, wheel design details, and why and how they did certain things. A lot of which I never would have noticed. It's cool stuff.

The set of wheels in the photo you posted are way more trick than they appear at first glance.

  26. Being seen with 2 different wheels messed me up at first.
Thinking someone built an identical Willys with black wheels :)
