A year ago the Midwest members of the famed Beatniks Car Club put on the first USA version of the Kustomville show. Shortly after they announced that would do it again, but bigger and later in the year when it was cooler. They asked me to organize and lead a reliability on the day before the show. Today was that day finally. We had about 60 cars at the start and maybe about five at the end but it was 132 mile run with five stops and it was a long, long day! We ended the day at Artist At Large Tattoo for an evening of Draggin’ Douglas Avenue Wichita, Kansas. Tomorrow is the show and I’ll have more coverage from it that I’ll post here afterwards.
1:30 am and I’m finally getting the Saturday video up! we’ll have photos going up by Sunday night! I’m beat and I’m going to sleep
Looked absolutely over the top from all the online coverage I’ve been looking forward to seeing your second video and additional coverage
The second one is up and linked above! IF it happens again I think you’d love the art show as much as the cars. Hope all is well Timm!
My wife took on the responsibility of shooting photos of the show on Saturday while I focused on video. I think that she did an amazing job for her 2nd or 3rd time doing this. I'll share a few photos when I can. I'm late for work right now so here's a couple to get you started! We had a blast hosting some friends at the house for the weekend, Including Joey and Shawn More photos when I get back from work later today. Full Gallery here. And if you think that Mrs. Royboy did a great job, please let her know below!
Good stuff, looked like all The cars you wanted to see and none of the ones you don’t. Cruise night looked massive
Great turnout, some really top notch kustoms, and intriguing art show. Hope to make it next year if you guys keep it going.
Then there was some of our club cars that rolled in. and our newest Pledge Joey & her sweet Impala and more good friends as well. More to come!
I always look forward to your pictures and video coverage of the events. I wanted to be at this show so bad, but my machine shop says otherwise.
That’s exactly why I do this. To make sure people see it and hopefully encourage more people to go to the next one. Glad I could bring you a taste of it
