2025 THE ESTRANGED C.C. DRAG / SHOW AT TOUTLE WASHINGTON

So this past Saturday, August 16th, 2025, down at "TMP",
( Toutle Motorsports Park ) this was my second year to attend this great event.

Last year I shot 250 shots that I posted to this Off topic Forum so as to not have to deal with anything being deleted.

Again this year, same thing, and this year I shot 520 shots of this great gathering of cool hot rod's. My Nikon D-600 while a heavy beast to lug around, its great lens still does produce some great results.

It took me hours to edit and crop the photos, and this year I shot a lot more shots of the interesting people that show up for this very cool event.

Sure the location of the strip and the surrounding scenery and the incredible cars are the main draw, but its also the candid shots of the people that are not aware of me taking pictures, that include their expressions and smiles, that to me is also a very cool element, at such an event, that add's so much to photo coverage.

So sit back as I start to down load the images.

I want to acknowledge such great H.A.M.B. members as @J.Ukrop , @Jalopy Joker , @49ratfink , @Bandit Billy , @jnaki and so many others that take the time to post their photographs and artwork.

One of the things I like to do, is crop the photos as tight as possible, and to give several views of the same car from different angles, and as you will all see on this years offerings posted here, and some incredible shots of the people and animals that attended, they have a story to tell as well, purely in the realm of random shots!

Plus I like to use the mode of the maximum of 30 shots per page!
Not all of the 520 shots will appear here, but dam close to it!

What you are about to see is the order they were all shot in, so there isn't any real plan here other than, this is what I saw as it happened.

Well, it took a lot of time to download all of these shots, but it was well worth the time to share all of the shots with the vast H.A.M.B. Universe!

This morning, I was watching the YouTube video from @oliver westlund which included footage of @Paul running his cool ride at Toutle, at the Estranged drag races.

Its amazing how many people from the H.A.M.B. show up at events, and you never know who they are by virtue of actually seeing them in person.

I am the person that was wearing this old worn out beat up straw hat while I was taking pictures.

I actually walked up to the owner of the T bucket with the engine painted gold, and said to him,
"these cars run faster when the engine is painted gold"
Little did I know that was @Paul in that car.

Peoples hats are noticeable at any event, especially when its a vintage almost wanna be Rat Fink hat, such as the pointy hat worn by @oliver westlund

Well at least at next years Estranged drags, I will know who these fellow HAMBERS are, and I can say howdy to them!

Plus, next year, this old hat will really be easy to spot, when the light weight Mexican hand painted blow fish, with the Pontiac master wings badge in its mouth, will be attached to the top of my hat!
This will give @oliver westlund incentive to decorate his pointy hat!

I still haven't run into @Bandit Billy yet at these events such as Goodguys in Puyallup.

I'm headed to the Longbeach Peninsula for Rod Run in a couple of weeks. Always a fun event.

 

Those cars seem to be the ones that brother inlaw their way in. Not many for the number of cars though. Most stick real close to the rules in place.

I love it! Yes, we should all get together at the drags next year, share some stories and a cup of coffee or a beer depending on the time of day! Love when folks get the rat fink/roth connection with my dopey hat! See you next year!
