So wait a minute. Would that be a "Moriaronary"?

Hope it's not contagious! Sounds like something that might be curable if we can get enough people to donate $19 a month. That's just 63¢ a day! :p

From the International Dictionary of Obscure Medical Terms
Moriaronary: [mo-ree-ah-rahn-ah-ree] A contagious disease caused by exposure to polyester, nylon and rayon, commonly found in Tupperware and bias-ply tires.

It would be cool @Ryan, if we had an embroidered HAMB patch that I could sew on my swap meet jacket. I'd pay for that.

An old friend who was a local sign painter and pinstriper used to have a taste for adult beverages. If someone asked him why he drank he'd explain that he didn't really like the taste of alcohol, but that he suffered from a disease that he referred to as "plebney".

Then, of course, someone would ask him how he knew he was afflicted with this mysterious disease. He would explain that the symptoms of plebney included things like the ability to walk up or down a flight of stairs without stumbling. Or tying your own shoes without putting knots in the laces. If you could perform simple tasks like these, you probably had plebney.

According to him there apparently was no known cure for plebney. But taken in a sufficient quan***y, the alcohol would at least provide some temporary relief. ;)

(Things have gotten a lot more boring around here since Kenny's p***ing several years ago. RIP, "Oggie".) :(

I display mine in the quarter window of my coupe every year. It doesn’t know if they’re red or black. ;)

I received a notice that my membership was about to expire but don't remember if it was an e-mail, text or notice on the HAMB.

I've been slacking for a while. Just re-upped. No need for a tag. Use it for some of the other guys.

Mine is the same month as my Ginn, NRA and Goodguys for some reason. It's the month that keeps on giving the whole year!

The house insurance is far more expensive and all you get is a piece of paper for proof. No br*** tag from them.

We don't need no stinkin tags! The tags are very cool, a lot of us have several. You could have an option to receive or not receive a tag at the time of renewal. I would still be fine paying the alliance membership to support the cause and not get a tag. I'm sure others would as well.

I like the tags because of what they represent and they are stamped on a historical piece of equipment! How many folks can say that:D
