I purchased the new Eddie Meyer heads from Monterey Speed and Sport. and I planned on ussing the ne Bob Drake "Torpedo Pumps". The problem is the impeller on the new pump is designed to recess into the head a little bit. The water port on the new head messures 1 5/8 and the old head messures 1 7/8. Obviosly one or the other need to be milled down. What do you suggest?
