223 alternator question

    Im converting to a gm one wire and was wondering if anyone had any pics of the alternator brackets on a ford 223 I6? Any help would be great.

    This page has a good plan for doing it, it's for a Y-block but I did something very similar to my '59 223.

  3. Vespa Jay has a good idea there, or maybe something can be scavenged off a later 240 from a '65 and up donor car.

    i have a gm alternator on mine but not one wire. it's mounted to the old bracket still but it sticks out forward about 1/4" or so.
