23 days to go
i ordered steel and a fire suit yesterday
here is my start

 

small update from last week..if anyone cares
the pics are before everything was welded and gusseted..just mocked up
but the frame is done except the cage, which we are following the current nhra requirements.
hoping to finish this week to get a test and tune next week before the race on the 8th

these pics are from friday so we have the engine/trans mounted
as soon as parts show up we put them on
all the big stuff we had on the shelf, but the little stuff is what we have to buy.
using up all the misc parts
as soon as the cage is done we can finish up all the misc stuff

well made some good progress this weekend
finished the cage
steering box is mounted, need to make an extension for the shaft
engine will be fired tomorrow
body mounts and brakes
100 trips to Napa and we are done
