235 Down Draft Tube MOD...

I understand the purpose of this device and was curious if there is any way of modifying it so it doesn't piss all over my freshly sealed driveway?

Any ideas / suggestions truly appreciated...

That's the one. You'll get less oil blow-by past the rings too.

 

make sure the deflector plate is in the block. It's a sheet metal plate held in with two screws, covers up the hole inside the block, so oil won't get out so easily.

It should not leak oil out the tube. Something's wrong.

 

It doesn't really leak... It's just the occasional drip... Annoying. Thanks for the info!

 

Another trick that I learned from on old circle track guy, is to work the down draft tube into the exhaust. It will held build a little bit of power as well
