I'm building a 54 235 for the first time and I can't figure out the oil pump.I got the pump mounted but can't figure out how the screen connects to the pump without hitting the crank.Anyone have pics are can tell me where to find a diagram?I tried the search and came up with nothing.
    Thanks.

Thanks for the pic.I'm missing that tubing. There is a br*** fitting in the block on the oppisite side of the pump and I can't figure out if some tubing comes from the pump to that fitting are not.I didn't tear the engine apart for the rebuild so I'm starting from scratch:confused:
    Thanks.

Yes, there should be a tube from the pump to the block that feeds oil to the main oil galley and on through the engine.
