235 rebuild So.cal

    looking for someone to rebuild a 235. nothing fancy just back to its old glory...its running right now just not enuff to make it to VLV 05....someone in socal is a must.. or maybe someone has one all rebuild and ready to go for sale?.....let me know fellas!

    I agree, I rebuilt mine when I was on winter break in high school. The kit isn't too expensive and it's not too hard to do. Make sure you get the head redone due to unleaded gas. You will need a strong stand because that engine is heavy as ****. Go with the ignitor ignition setup, it helped mine out.
    The only engine shop I have heard of out here that specializes in the older and out of the norm is egge machine shop which I think is in Santa Fe Springs.
